A small-town businesswoman with a big-time dream: creating a company from nothing, but faith, hard work, and dedication. Over the last 25 years, Marina Daniel – Owner of Sabie Poles – and the dedicated staff and team have done exactly that. Sabie Poles have grown into an internationally known timber manufacturing and exporting company. Our passion for the environment, high-quality products, and outstanding customer service has impacted every aspect of our.
This, together with a loyal customer base, has led to a company that is at the forefront of innovation and manufacturing. Over the last 25 years, we have perfected the art of timber treatment with CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenic) and received the seal of approval from multiple managing bodies like SABS (South African Bureau of Standards), NRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications), SAWPA (South African Wood Preservation Association) and meet all international guidelines, making Sabie Poles the obvious choice for exporting timber.

We have celebrated the following big accomplishments, and hope to celebrate many more with you:
- 1995 – Opened Sabie Poles with only 5 employees.
- 1996 – Received the SABS 457, 1288, and 0255 marks of approval
- 1996 – Became a member of SA Wood Preservers Association and received an environmental competence certificate
- 2005 – Acquired own Eucalyptus Timber farm
- 2017 – Awarded NRCS approval as reputable treated pole manufacturer
- 2019 – Installed a timber Moulding Plant to expand our range
- 2020 – Celebration of 25 years in business
